Position Summary

To calibrate and repair a wide range of electrical and electronic measuring equipment.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Calibration of measuring equipment
  • Repair of instruments of any description to assembly or component level as appropriate in accordance with company procedures
  • Calibrate and repair equipment on customer sites when necessary
  • Completion of necessary paperwork
  • Ensure work completed within timescales and to company quality requirements.
Requirements

The successful candidate should be educated to HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and have solid experience of working in an electronic calibration and repair environment. Computer literacy is essential along with the ability to calibrate and repair electronic measuring equipment to component level and work to tight deadlines. The candidate should have a logical approach to problem solving, good communication skills, be able to work well within a team and have a flexible approach to working hours.
