Position Summary
Supports pre-sales activities with the Regional Sales Managers (RSM) in the central and international regions, and with local sales representatives. This encompasses the following areas: technical support, lead follow-up, products/solutions training and seminars to sales representatives and customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities to Perform the Job include:
- Making initial and scheduling sales calls with or without the RSMs.
- Recommending products, integration methods and general application guidelines based on customer requirements.
- Setting strategies to combine technology that will result in aiding RSMs to close sales.
- Providing technical training and product demonstrations to customers and manufacturer’s representatives.
- Providing technical responses to RFIs and RFPs to show how Aeroflex products can meet customer requirements.
- Developing training materials and application notes for Aeroflex products.
- Conducting application demonstrations for seminars, trade shows and key customers.
- Provide feedback to product management for new product development.
- Communicating field failures to design and development teams and assist in resolving issues.
- Creating proposed specifications for new parts when no existing part meets customers’ needs.
- Providing input to support marketing development of data sheets, press releases and selector guides.
Comments (other duties and skills):
- Travel to the customer site when required.
- Handle pre-sales and post-sales activities.
- Must be able to read and understand schematics.
- Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills are required
- Knowledge of radiation affects on semiconductors is a plus.
- Strong presentation skills, excellent technical knowledge, proactive initiative, and the ability to form relationships with the customer base are critical.

Requirements
Education: BSEE and at least 5 years of related semiconductor experience.

Work Status: Must have status of a U.S. Person (U.S. citizenship or permanent resident alien)
